i watched National Treasure (Books of Secrets) with my schoolmates: Kelvin, Harsh, Harry & Thing. the day all of us had nothing to do. can't remember when. what a memory. on Christmas, me and my family went out for lunch near Masjid Sultan. in my opinion, the food sucks. they were sweet and cold. we then headed to Marina Square to past time. the girls did their shopping. my dad can never restrain himself from trying on new watches. he keeps telling me to get my watch glass replaced but i don't see the worth doing so. replace the glass and it might shatter into pieces in future. then he told to get a new watch, i say if you want to get me a new one, wait till next year.

almost every cinema was full. so we headed to Cathay (Dhoby Ghaut) and bought the 11.50pm show. i had to seat alone. i don't really mind actually. i prefer watching movie alone cos that is what i had been doing for the past year. (: the shitty thing was this guy beside me whom kept on jerking to the sound effect and making noise with his crackers. before watching I am Legend, we had dinner at Rex (Chicken Rice restaurant but i had fried rice with chicken) and sat at Starbucks for almost 2 hours to past time, again.


WEDNESDAY

i had a committee meeting at school just now. got almost everything done.. almost. we got a small table and 1 whiteboard for the room. Tricia said go ahead with the shopping! get everything from IKEA. alright ! so now, we need to go shoppinggggggg!

Val, San, Harry and Kel decided to surprise Thing. so they bought her a small bear with a box and a small mango cake. Valerie wrapped the presents with god-knows-how-many-layers. Kelvin went out of the window when Thing called his handphone. all of us weren't done yet. we were busy drawing things on the paper and pasting them up on the wall. visit Val's blog (see right column) and you can see th rest of the pics. all these pics, i took it from her blog. after the meeting and all, we headed to one of the steamboat restaurant adjacent to our school. my second time having steamboat with the peeps. not as tasty as my first experience with Jie, Bee and all. however, it's really scary when you witness the way the ladies eat. i was there! they have huge tanks! San or Val said beer with steamboat is a good combination. so we each drank only a mug. before drinking, Bee's was already high. she's talking nonsense and laughing for no reason, slapping for no reason ... well, she always does that ... crazy!

TODAY

went to CostaSands (DowntownEast) for a swim at 9.45am with Kelvin. we swam till 11.15am and had lunch at Burger King. could you believe what the BK staff told me when i was taking my order. she said, "we only have chicken and fish". i suddenly couldn't find my words. which damn BK ever serve chicken and fish only? although chicken i at the top of my list, when i have my burgers in Burger Kings, i like to have red meat! yummeh!

me and Kel were finding jobs that we can start immediately. not that easy though. i can work, he can't. he can work, i can't. we can work, but we don't like the job scope. bloody hell. we played pool for an hour before Kelvin went to arcade for awhile and heading home. i watched TV for awhile before heading to sleep. woke up at 10 plus or something and chatted with Lisah. she said she misses me. well .. i do too abit. my dad came back awhile after i woke up. that's when i heard about the murder of Pakistani's opposition Leader, Bhutto. what a name. sad to hear that. the rest of my family came back an hour later with 2 burger Ramly for me and some tapioca and fried bananas (malay foods).

now, i'm bored. nothing to do. slept too much already. hmm... if only my parents allowed me to go JB, Malaysia. i would have gone with my cousin last Sunday and with Bee and Kelvin today. Kelvin didn't go cos i'm not going. he's freaking bored. he's not going back Vietnam. he's asking us to go out everyday. haha. poor guy.
